Family business, George Shields Kitchens, has been successfully operating since the 1960s and has witnessed vast change across Hartlepool in the decades that followed. Continually adapting to changing markets, the company is currently developing a new name, product range and showroom, which reflects its drive and ambition to be around for many more years to come.

Based on Whitby Street South in Hartlepool, George Shields Kitchens specialise in the design and fitting of high quality kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms, providing a complete service to clients including measuring and planning. They believe that ‘you get what you pay for’. Gary’s 25 years of experience allow him to choose the companies he works with based on their quality: Prentice, an English company that produces bespoke kitchen & bedroom furniture and Comera, a well established French company specialising in elegant & stylish kitchens. They then tailor these to suit the individual’s needs and budgets. As a result, they have built a strong reputation in the industry, with much repeat business and positive customer recommendations.
